Feline Friends Cat Sitters

We are Feline Friends Edinburgh Cat Sitters

My name is Irene and I provide a personalised in-home cat care service for cats of all ages including kittens and senior cats. I have good cat care knowledge and cat handling abilities. My services include a high standard of cleanliness and watering plants.

I have a police checked disclosure Scotland and have public liability insurance. I am trustworthy, very reliable, and organised. I will provide the very best care for your fur babies while you are away from home. I have a certificate in Stress and Anxiety for cats.

During the daily visits I will change the food and water and make sure the litterboxes are clean. I am able to administer medication and cater for dietary needs. Lots of playtime for stimulation and plenty of lap time too! I will provide daily updates and pictures of your fur babies to give you peace of mind. Price of cat visits : From £12 per visit.

I have previously worked in a Cattery in Edinburgh and learned a lot about cats. I helped in a grooming shop for dogs and cats. I own 2 abyssinian cats called Eithne and Fergus and an Asian chocolate Burmese kitten called Lady Lola. Eithne has asthma and Fergus is on a grain freed diet. I administer medication to Eithne when required. I consult regularly with the breeders of my cats and vets to improve my knowledge on feeding and introducing a kitten to senior cats. I have a lot of patience and bond well with the timid cats I visit. I support the PDSA and Cat Protection League and interested in cat shows.

We are now taking bookings for October and Christmas this year.

Testimonials

“I have two rescues who are very sensitive and I’d never left them alone before. Irene and Lindsay’s thoughtfulness and care made me feel like I was leaving them with friends. Daily check-ins and even follow up after I’d returned home. You won’t find better care for your furry friends for when you need to leave town. Thank you Feline Friends!”

Adam B

“Excellent service from feline friends. My cat Milo obviously enjoyed Lindsay’s visits. The photo updates were great and Lindsay kindly went out of her way to check back on the one occasion that he wasn’t around. Would use this company again and recommend to others.”

Sheena T

“This was the first time we had left our two Burmese cats Boris and Bruno with a cat sitter so we were naturally a little nervous, but Irene was fantastic. She visited twice per day for a week to take care and entertain the cats and sent us daily updates with photos. Irene is wonderful with cats and really understands how to engage with them. I’m not even sure our boys missed us that much, which is testament to how much the cats enjoyed Irene’s visits. We would absolutely use Feline Friends Edinburgh again when we next travel. Our minds and most importantly, our cats, felt at ease.”
